Rites Held for Decatur Native

Funeral services were held in California Saturday, December 15, for a Decatur native, Ned E. Darling. He died December 12 following a lengthy illness. Mr. Darling, 56, who was born in Decatur, had lived in California for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lee; two sons, Michael, and Kevin, of Encino, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Joanne Beall and Miss Kellie Anne Darling, both of Glendale; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Darling of Visalia, Calif., two sister, Mrs. Eleanor Rhoda of Visalia and Mrs. Marcella Gregg of Omaha and six grandchildren.
Burial was at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery at Mission Hill, Calif.
