While there I met and married Alice Flint. We later divorced. 1961 to 1963 found me in the U.S. Army. 1963 to 1995 I ranched in Wyoming. In February 1995 I was diagnosed with COPD (Emphysema). I was one of the fortunate few who was able to receive a lung transplant. On December 9, 1998, I received a right lung at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. 1999 & 2000 I again worked as a mechanic. The last 6 years I have worked in a Bar-Cafe. My transplant has been very successful. I have had very few complications. I have to stay active to counter the side effects of my drug regimen. Not doing as good as some, but doing better than most. Looking forward to many more banquets.
