Children:  5  Patti, Debra, Linda, Mary & Ray Jr.

Grandchildren:  8 Granddaughters; 4 Grandsons and 1 Great-Granddaughter

     I enlisted in the Marine Corps after graduation and spent 6 years on active duty.  I was discharged and went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha and joined the Marine Corps Reserve.  In July 1965, I re-enlisted in the regular Marine Corps and retired from active duty on the 30th of September 1978.

     I spent 2  1/2 years working for Hallmark Cards and 12 years working for Yellow Freight Trucking Company in the Kansas City area as a programmer Analyst.  I quit working on the 30th day of April in 1993.  Have spent the subsequent years traveling, golfing, bowling and reading.
