I am attaching a photo of my wife, LaNell J. Byram and myself with our four children and two son-in-laws. In the photo I am on the left side and LaNell is on the right. The two girls sitting down are our two daughters. Sharyn Evanich is on the left and Derrolyn Anderson is on the right. Sharyn's husband Dan Evanich is standing behind her and Derrolyn husband, Steve Anderson is standing behind Derrolyn. Our two boys are standing in the rear. Nicholas Byram on the left and Jeffrey Byram is on the right. Their wives were not present when the photo was taken.
Hi all,
Happy new year and all that. It should be a good 2010 for
all of us. We are kind of a lucky bunch of people. Why I
am writing is to show you a photo of an oil painting that
our daughter Derrolyn did for us. Some time ago I think it
was Orma sent a photo of Decatur from the hill with all the
American flags out and flying. Derrolyn asked me if I had
anything that I would like a painting of so I gave her the
photo. Attached is the result and I love it. John

I graduated in 1952. I live in San Jose, CA. After the
Air Force and the years at Lincoln I was employed by IBM
designing computers.
II have been retired since 1990 and keep busy playing golf, I just gave up duck hunting but did get to ski once this year. Anything I do bike ride and hike and like active things. LaNell and I travel some and well, time passes. Our oldest daughter workes for the City of San Jose, CA here in San Jose. Derrolyn and husband have a business making cat collars. Nicholas is a CPA and works for the State of California in Sacramento. Son Jeffrey is an FBI agent and works in Washington DC. I think that you are doing a good thing and will want to read about the others from Decatur that I remember.
