As we, the annual staff of 1962, leave D.H.S., the memory of one teacher, Miss Haatvedt, is engraved in our hearts and minds. Sincerity, honesty, and a genuine interest in each student characterizes her personality. We, the students, realize and appreciate these fine qualities. We are also grateful for the time and patience she has exhibited in helping us in many worthwhile activities outside the normal classroom routine.
Through the 7 years she has taught here, she has been more than just a teacher to her students; she has also been our friend.
Because of her assistance the annual of 1962 has been successfully completed.
