Information taken from the May 26, 1996 Decatur Alumni Banquet booklet

     After leaving Decatur High I went to Morningside College to get a theater/music major, knowing all along I wanted to be a florist.   I dropped out of college and went to Florist School in Denver, and became a florist.  I opened my own florist shop, Confetti Flowers,  after working in numerous florist shops in Omaha.   I owned my own shop for 12 years and sold it to move on to the job I currently hold, Events Coordinator at Alegent Heath Immanuel Medical.  I plan all the catered events and large parties held by and for the hospital.   I am very busy and still do flowers for all of these events also.

      I am divorced and I have 2 beautiful daughters:  Brooke, 17, and Jasmyn, 15, who live in Blair.  They are the Highlight of my life.
