Beth Elaine Tippery

August 1, 1956  -  March 12, 2022

Beth Elaine Tippery was born on August 1, 1956, to Elmer and Laura Tippery of Decatur, Nebraska; the youngest of 3 children. She attended school at District 10, aka Busse school and then graduated from Decatur High School in 1974. She then graduated in 1975 from Lincoln of Commerce in Lincoln, Nebraska where she specialized in accounting.

Beth had several interests including working with children which was fulfilled by working with a Head Start program in Tekamah for a while.  Because she was also interested in sewing and crafting, she opened a fabric shop in Tekamah which she operated until it was closed due to a fire next door to the shop.

Beth moved to Omaha where she worked for Huber Chevrolet for a several years before being forced into retirement due to poor health. Beth enjoyed her job and considered the people she worked with an extension of her family.  After retiring, Beth began looking for a home to live closer to family. Due to poor health, she stayed with her sister, Anne Hartgenbush and brother-in-law, Danny Hartgenbush of Odebolt, Iowa until going into hospital and eventually to nursing home where she passed away on March 12, 2022, with her sister at her side.

Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Love Tippery and survived by her father, Elmer Tippery (Decatur); Brother, Paul Tippery (Decatur); Sister, Anne (Danny) Hartgenbush (Odebolt); niece Rhiannon Tippery in Minnesota; and her Goddaughter, Shelby Dragt.
