     Dale was born November 23, 1923.  He married Maxine Murphy on July 1, 1944.  He served in World War II from 1942 until 1945 and was honorably discharged as a Major.

     He attended college at Peru State, Gridley, CO, and received his Masters Degree from the University of Nebraska. 

     Dale was principal at Bellevue, NE for 9 years.  He moved to Sacramento, CA in 1955.   At the time of his death he was district Superintendent of the Elementary Schools in Placer District.

     He had 3 sons, Dennis of Lomis, CA; Daryl of Wichita, KS; and Douglas of Sacramento, CA.   Had he lived he would have had 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.

     Dale passed away March 5, 1975 of Cancer. He was a loving husband and father.
