Children:  4   Brent (deceased), Jamie, Lana and Kristen

After graduation I married Steve Dye, a 1971 graduate.  We were blessed with a baby boy who died at the early age of one year.

I then went to work at the Citizen's State Bank (Now First Nebraska Bank), here in Decatur for 3 years. 

The following 10 years were spent at home, where three girls came into our lives.  Jamie 19, just finished her Sophomore year at U.N.L.; Lana 17, a 1997 Senior graduate of Lyons/Decatur Northeast; and Kristen 14, just finished Junior High and will be a Freshman next fall.

I am presently employed here at the Decatur Elementary Center and have been for the last ten years as a Secretary/Resource Room Paraprofessional.
