Former Decaturite, Don C. Besst died June 24 at Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital in Glendale, AZ.  He was 65.

Besst graduated from Decatur High School in 1938.  During World War II he served in the United States Coast Guard.  He moved to Arizona 26 years ago from Chicago, Il.

He operated Besst Used Car Sales in Glendale.

Survivors include his wife, Mona; daughter, Connie Armstrong; sons, Steven and Dale; step daughters, Tina and Kathi; sister, Jean Anne; and nine grandchildren.
