     Private funeral services were held at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery Thursday, October 9, 1969 for Mrs. Kenneth Talmon of Gretna.  She died October 7 at her home at the age of 38.  Rev. J.L. Hill officiated.  Memorial services were conducted at the Gretna Methodist Church during the regular services, Sunday October 12. 

     Dorothy Hennig, daughter of Elva and Sidney Hennig, was born August 15, 1931, in Tekamah.  She graduated from Decatur High School and attended Midland College in Fremont.  She taught in the rural schools in Burt County and at Randolph, NE.

     On July 7, 1954 she married Kenneth Talmon of Omaha.  They resided in Randolph for one year and were residents of Pilger for a number of years.  They moved to Omaha in 1958 and to Gretna in 1960.
