Brea, CA...... Resident, Elmer Lavern Schroder, 68, died Sunday, December 20, 1987, at the LaHabra Community Hospital in LaHabra, CA.    Services were held Wednesday, December 23, at the Memory Garden Mortuary with a private burial.

     Schroder was born in Decatur Township to Harold and Mame Schroder.  He was a manufacturing engineer for nine years with G.S.T. Industries.  Mr. Schroder was a member of the Greenleaf Masonic Lodge in Whittier, CA, Elks and Tangier Shriners of Omaha

     He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Kardell.  Survivors include his wife, Ruth; son, Steven of Yorba Linda, CA; granddaughter, Jennifer Mills of Ojai, CA; sisters, Darlene Bush of LaHabra, CA, and Marilyn Meyers of Sioux Falls, SD; brothers, Dwight of Rockford, IL and Neil of Cucamonga, CA.
