HAROLD "DOC" SEARS was born September 14, 1920, at Decatur, Nebraska to Harry and Margaret (Connealy) Sears. He passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007, at his home in Alta Loma, California.

Beloved husband of Donna Sears; loving father of Cathy (Ralph) Dockery of Colorado and Larry (Candy) Sears of California; grandfather of Ryan (Ilse) Sears, Flynn Sears, Patrick Sears, Kristin Dockery, Brian Dockery; great grandfather of Amelie Sears. Doc is also survived by his sister: Mary Bearden of Maryland and many dear relatives in Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Ed Sears; sisters: Gula Peterson and Ethel Maxine Livermore.

Doc was well respected in the rubber industry and had a great passion for aviation. He lived his life with dignity and courage and will be truly missed by all.

Services were held in California on Wednesday, December 26, 2007.

FUNERAL MASS: Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Decatur, Nebraska.

BURIAL: Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, Nebraska.
