Funeral services were held for Janice Wilson Friday, February 3, at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Decatur.  She died January 31 in Omaha at the age of 28

Elder Robert Stading and Evangelist Russell Maryott conducted the service with music being provided by Mary Ann Bacon and Ethelyn Brewer, vocalists, and Beaulah Halstead, Organist.

Janice Elaine Wilson was born May 23, 1955, in Sioux City, IA.  Most of her life was spent in the Decatur area.  She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include her husband, Tom; four children, Richard and Crystal Young and Rene and Nicole Wilson; mother, Doris Ferguson and sister, Kathryn Morrow, all of Decatur; brothers, Wayne Ferguson of Decatur and Larry Ferguson of Eagle, CO; and her father, Alfred Ferguson of Herman.

Serving as pallbearers were Donald Uehling, Michael Conklin, Vinncent Parker, David Miller, Jim Kellogg and Steve Kellogg.  Honorary pallbearers were Larry Sexton and Sean Dunning.

Concluding services were at Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur.
