Jaimie's..Aiden After High school I worked a year on the farm with my folks. Then I went to work for Charlie Lane who had a tree service in Lyons, Nebraska and later for Burt County REA in Tekamah as a lineman. In the summer of 1967 we moved to Colorado and I worked in an underground Molybdemum mine (which is a metal element used in alloy steel) at Climax near Leadville, Colorado. We moved back to Nebraska and I went back into electrical work. In 1969 I started working out of the International Brotherhood of electrical Workers in Omaha. I worked in several states on various projects. My family lived in Tekamah. We moved to Omaha in 1989. In 1991, I became business manager for the Lineman Local of the IBEW for the state of Nebraska and in 2002 I retired. I spend most of my extra time with Grandkids, Great Grandkids and the older neighbors. We currently have two cats, Callie and Bart. Janice and Jim and their family live in Omaha; and Jay and Melissa and their family live in Eureka Springs, AR.
