(Information taken from 50th Alumni Booklet May 2007. Please send an e-mail to update information at any time.) Spouse: George Schuler III, Deceased August 2005 Children: 3 Lance G. Schuler; Luanne Schuler Lohr and Larie L. Lydick. Grandchildren: 4 Alicia Schuler; Lacey Schuler; Preston Lohr and Prentice Lohr. I attended a Business School in Omaha, worked a couple of years in Omaha and A.S.C. Office in Tekamah. Met my husband, George, of 45 years and became a full-fledged farm wife--"Gofer, Mud Wader, (we irrigate), Chief Cook and Bottle Washer." Worked my way up the "farm ladder." No more bottle washer, three kids grew up. Worked part-time 17 years at local newspaper. My one regret was I didn't get a college education. Am proud to say we had two daughters graduate from University of Nebraska, Lincoln. My favorite interests are college football (Big Red of Course), sewing, playing cards and traveling. Luanne and husband and two "grand-boys" live in San Diego, CA. Larie and husband and two "grand-dogs" live in Omaha. Lance and wife and two "grand-girls" farm and manage our farm, which has been in the Schuler family over 100 years with a little help from "The Boss.". I made it to the top of the ladder!!!! updated: 4/4/09 |
