     In June 1973, I married Gary Huffman.  We moved to Omaha and I attended Nettleton Business College.  City life didn't agree with us, so we moved back to Decatur in 1974 where we have resided ever since.

      I worked at Burt County Coop and Decatur Public Schools as Secretary to the Superintendent.  We have two daughters, Kelly and Krystal.  They are both currently in Lincoln attending Southeast Community College.

      In 1980, I started my career in Insurance.  I worked at First Nebraska Bank as secretary, teller and Insurance Agent.  In 1989, I decided to open my own Insurance Agency. 

     In 1993 I took a big career jump and went into the health field where I am currently working as an Emergency Medical Technician at Carl T. Curtis Health Center.  When I'm not working, I am taking classes and spending time with my girls.  Gary and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in June of this year.
