I worked as a farm hand until 1948, at a Texaco Service Station for a short while, and then as a mechanic for the State of Nebraska.

I joined the U.S. Air Force in January 1951 and was stationed in Texas, Tennessee, Korea, Florida, Wyoming, Okinawa and Illinois.  After 14 years I was discharged.

I was ordained as a Southern Baptist Minister and have pastored in Texas and Tennessee.  I am presently Pastor at Davis Blvd. Baptist Church where I am involved in mission work with the homeless in Fort Worth.
