     My work has been in carpentry.  I have traveled most of the United States.  I was in Korea (1942-53), in the U.S. Army.  (I paid for this trip!!!)  My hobbies and interests have been woodworking, golf, fishing, archery, and hunting.

April 23, 1931 - June 20, ????

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at the RLDS Church in Decatur for Kenneth Mark Wilson.  He died June 20 at Hayden, ID, where he had been living with his brother during an illness.

He was born April 23, 1931, in Decatur, the son of Mark and Ethel (Earl) Wilson.  He graduated from Decatur High School in 1948.

He entered the U.S. Army on February 7, 1952, and served at  aide stations in Korea from January 1953-1954.  He was discharged January 20, 1954.  He received the Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars, United Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Combat Infantry Badge.

Wilson was a carpenter in Colorado and Wyoming but spent most of his life in Decatur as a contractor and also worked on the Decatur bridge.  He was a member of the American Legion and a former volunteer fireman and police officer.

His parents,  and brother, Donald, preceded him in death.

Surviving are a sister, Edna Mae Wilson of Mt. Airy, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Darrel and Beverly Wilson of Hayden, Idaho; two nephews, Scott Wilson of La Grande, Or, and Greg Wilson of Plano, TX; niece, Sherri Lionberger of Dalton Gardens, ID; and four grand-nieces.

The family suggests memorials to the donor's favorite organization or charity.
