November 28, 1930 - July 9, 2007 A funeral service was held July 12, 2007, at First United Methodist Church in Blair for Lloyd W. Warren. He died July 9, 2007 at Blair Memorial Community Hospital at the age of 76. He was born November 28, 1930 on the family farm southwest of Decatur, the son of George and Getrude (Thomas) Warren. He attended Hilltop, Elm Creek and Lyons schools, graduating from Decatur High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. May 19, 1951, he married Elaine Dorn in Tekamah. Warren retied from Lucent (Western Electric) after having worked for them for over 27 years. Memberships included Tekamah VFW and Blair American Legion. Preceding him in death were his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and John Dorn; and sister-in-law, Mina Warren. Survivors include his wife of Blair; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Tim Brechbill of Omaha and Kay and Mark Petersen of Blair; son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Kristine Warren of Kennard; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Paul and Beverly Warren of Tekamah, Raymond and Ann Warren of Elkhorn and Tom Warren of Blair; and sister and Brother -in-law, Mary Lou and Harold Wedgewood of Tekamah. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, Blair, was in charge of arrangements.
