Lucretia (Trese) Reno was
born on April 11, 1940 to Lloyd and Ethel (Means)
Williams at her home in Rural Decatur. She passed away
on April 3, 2012 with her family at her side.
While working at Mutual of Omaha she met and married Jim
Reno on December 21, 1958. After raising her three
daughters, she worked in the Decatur/Lyons school system
as a cafeteria specialist for 4 years.
Lucretia loved spending time with her grandchildren and
great grandchildren. Beyond the love she had for her
family, she spent her free time gardening with her
mother, who was also her best friend. Many happy hours
were spent sharing stories, joking, and loving the
garden they shared. Her passion for gardening was equal
to her passion for cooking. She was well known for her
amazing dishes and no one left her home hungry.
She peacefully joins her father Lloyd, step father
