Information taken from the 1991 Decatur Alumni Banquet booklet

     Mark graduated in 1941.  He married Naomi Holmes in 1942.  They had 6 children, 2 girls and 4 boys.  He has 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

     He joined the Navy in 1942 and was in the Pacific Theater for about 3 years aboard a destroyer.

     He worked as a painter, electrician, farm hand and for the Village of Decatur.

     He loved all kinds of sports and participated in them until he got too old.  He loved to dance and have a good time.

     Mark died of Cancer in October 1989.
