(Information taken from 50th Alumni Booklet May 2006. Please send an e-mail to update information at any time.) Spouse: Donna Children: 2 Sons, Dwayne (lives in North Hills, CA with one daughter, Shannon) and a daughter, Tammi (lives in Long Beach, CA. with twin sons, Jake and David) No Pets: The dogs died and the children are gone.... Interests are golf, photography, computer surfing, church and wife, Donna. Don't have much interest in it, but spend inordinate amount of time removing weeds from the landscape. Also spend a lot of time watching cruise ships and merchant ships in the shipping lanes of the Straits of Juan De Fuca between Sequim and Victoria, Canada. Immediately after graduation from Decatur High, attended Wayne State and then UCLA. Took lots of classes sponsored by several employers and worked at various and sundry jobs.. production worker, foreman, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer ,Plant Manager, General Manager and finished up as the Vice President of Quality at a manufacturing facility in the Seattle Area. Had the pleasure of working with and for former Decaturites, Harold (Doc) Sears, C.D. (Dee) Stillman, A.G. (Shorty) Frazier, Don Hale and my bestest friend, Jim Sears and then went to semi-retirement in 2002. Am nearly separated from working, but manage, since late 2005, to spend a couple of days a month dispensing a modest amount of advice to my last employer. Donna retired in 2001 and cracked the whip (not really) over the contractors that built our new house in Sequim that we moved into in October 2002. Can't say it hasn't been exciting at times. Still include Decatur, Nebraska in conversations with old and new friends and acquaintances and while reminiscing about the rolling hills, changing of the tree colors in the fall, walking in snow that cracks under your feet because it's so cold, summer mosquitoes, sitting on the porch before, during and after a spring rain, hunting along old fence rows.... Some good and some not so good, but overall, we've been blessed and I wouldn't have missed it for the world!!!
