Services for Patricia (Pat) Shepard, 50, were April  24 at Trinity Methodist Church, Salina, KS with the Rev. John Martin officiating.  She died April 21, 1995, at St. John's Reg. Health Center at Salina. 

She was born at Tekamah Feb 3, 1945, to Lyle and Lelah Farrens of Decatur, March 27, 1982, she married Sam C. Sheppard at Salina Trinity Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sheppard was a licensed realtor and homemaker.  She had been a resident of Salina since 1976, moving there from Topeka, KS.

Memberships included  the Trinity Methodist Church; volunteer and board member of the Hotline Crisis Center; Family Hope Center-Grief Support Group; Ashbury Hospital Auxiliary; and Salina Charities League.

A son, David M. Culwell, preceded her in death on August 3, 1988.

Surviving are her husband of Salina; sons, Jeffery Culwell of Mission, KS, and Bill Sheppard of Saline, KS; daughters, Michelle Milhon of Wellington, KS, and Melissa Prosser of Omaha; parents; brother, Skip Farrens of Decatur; sisters, Jean Morgan of Decatur and Mary Jones of Littleton, CO; and four grandchildren.

Burial was at the Gypsum Hill Cemetery at Salina.  Memorials may be directed to the Jade Culwell College Fund.
