I attended Lincoln School of Commerce for one year and then married.  We moved to Sioux City, where Darien worked as a Boilermaker.  I worked in the credit department at First National Bank.

We moved back to Decatur in 1977 to raise our family.  For a few years the girls and I traveled with Darien on his jobs away from home.  We had a lot of fun those years and saw a lot of different places.

I started working at First Nebraska Bank in May of 1985.  I wasn't real sure of going back to work full time.  Guess what, I'm still there.

Our daughter, Leslie, attends the University of Nebraska Medical Center for nursing and is currently planning a wedding in June of 2000.  Stacy, our youngest, attends the University of Nebraska and is currently majoring in pre-physical therapy.

We have been very blessed in our lives with good health, family and friends.  We enjoy our quiet, small town life.
