Information taken from the May 30,1999 Decatur Alumni Banquet Booklet Spouse: Rick Hampton Married August 6, 1998 Children: Klarise Brummond 17, Karla Sears 23, Kayleen Sears 15 Grandchildren: Jordan Kay Brummond 8, Tyler James Brummond 7 After graduation I had gotten married to Timothy Allen Sears and had the first of three daughters! I continued to stay in Decatur area for 10-12 more years. I worked along side Tim and his family in Hungry's Bar for all of the 10-12 years. During this time I had the second daughter of three girls. In the early 1980's, Tim and I moved to Iowa where we started up another Hungry's Bar and Restaurant. We ran this business for 10 years. During this time I had the last of my three girls. I have been in the food industry for 30 years. In 1988, I got a divorce and raised my three daughters by myself. They now are grown and two have left the nest, but one (Kayleen) still remains at home. My oldest daughter (Klarise) married 1 1/2 years ago and is now a stepmother of two children. The second daughter (Karla) has her own home and works along side of me in my new restaurant. I moved back to the Tekamah area in 1992 when I started managing The Dusty Rose Restaurant and Bar. I recently got remarried to a very nice man by the name of Richard Hampton. After all these years, my life has been pretty simple, but I take great pride in my family and my successful Career. I feel I have not been cheated or left out of anything. I have been very healthy and my family has been very healthy. If I had to say after all these years what was the most important thing I have done with my life after high school, I would have to say my three daughters.
