Shirley was Omaha, Nebraska Polio Mother of the Year in 1961.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Mitchell, Lawrence and Leonard Lantis; sisters, Maureen Watters, Genevive Mitchell, Joan Darling, Lucille Tracy Milford.  She is survived by children, John and Linda Rudolf, Phoenix, Donna and Larry Murphy, Omaha, Donald and Janell Rudolf, Fort Calhoun; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Sykes, Dayton, Ohio.

Funeral service held 10 a.m. 10 a.m. Sat, Roeder Mortuary, 108th St. Chapel.  Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday.  Interment Forest Lawn.  Memorials to Northwest Hills United Church of Christ or March of Dimes.
