Spouse:  Gene Modlin (deceased 1976); Lonnie Giles

Children/Grandchildren:  2-- Doug (born in 1956 & living in Hebron, NE) and Kim (born in 1959 & living in Herman, NE).  1 stepdaughter, Tami and 5 grandchildren

I married Gene Modlin in 1955.  We had 2 children, Doug and Kim.  Gene passed away in 1976 due to Diabetes complications.  In 1978 I married Lonnie Giles and added his daughter, Tami, to our family.  Tami lives in Federal Heights, CO.  We share 5 grandchildren.

I retired in December, 1993 after 33 years of service to U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and Lonnie is "semi"-retired, as he still enjoys driving truck in the spring for the Burt County Road Dept.  We enjoy camping with our 5th wheel camper.  I have a part time job with the local flower shop and enjoy volunteering at Tekamah Health and Rehab Center every Tuesday.  I am the GED Coordinator for the area through NECC in Norfolk.
