     After graduation, I attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.  I graduated from UNL in May 1977 with a BA in Elementary Education.  That summer, I applied for and received my first teaching job in a country school and I met Wayne.

     I taught for two years before they closed the school since there weren't enough kids to keep it open.  I then did some substitute teaching and also worked at the Coast to Coast Store in Tekamah.

     I am now employed by Farm Service Agency in Tekamah, where I have worked for 12 years.  Wayne and I are busy with Jonathan in sports and 4-H.
