Violet Lucille Willams Fleishman

Violet Lucille (Williams) Fleischman was born September 18, 1920, in Decatur, Nebraska to Joe and Viola (Craig) Williams. She passed away May 3, 2022, at Nye Legacy in Fremont, Nebraska at the age of 101 years.

Lucille graduated from Decatur High School. On February 20, 1940, Lucille married La Verne Raymond Fleischman. They moved to a farm east of Oakland, Nebraska, where they lived for 72 years. Three children, Mary Katherine, Joseph “Tony” and Susan were born to this union. She was a life-long farmwife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, La Verne; brothers, Lloyd and Riley; sister, Helen Kahlandt; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Fleischman of Oakland, Susan (Kevin) Hansen of Tekamah, NE; son, Joseph (Charlene) Fleischman of Tekamah; grandsons, Mike (Laura) Fleischman, Dave (Michelle) Fleischman, Jeff (Heidi) Fleischman; great grandchildren, Kolton, Easton and Mya Fleischman, Tysen, Tessa and Tanner Fleischman, Ceden and Eloise Fleischman; brother-in-law, Morris (Bonnie) Fleischman of Oakland, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Fleischman of Craig, Norma Williams of Tekamah; many nieces and nephews
