Virgil George Guill died Monday, October 18, 2004  He was born on January 31, 1918, to M.C. and Olice Emma Guill. Virgil graduated from Decatur High School in 1936. He joined the U.S. Army in Omaha, then went on to the Air Force where he served as captain until his retirement. He worked as postman in Baton Rouge for several years after he retired.

He was united in marriage t o Marguerite Gautier in 1943.  Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.  Virgil is survived by an adopted daughter: Andrea (William) Kenyon, of Baton Rouge, LA ; sisters: Irene Bucklin of Lincoln, Neb., Lucille Hendrickson of Fremont, Neb., Magle Young Brunton of Oakland, Neb.; and two grandsons.
