Children: 5   Roger Pond-47; Gerald Jr. Deceased; Teri Pond Svoboda-45; Sara Donaldson-40 and John Dyson-37

Grandchildren: 15   Rachel, Brett, Derek, Lindsay, Candice, Jacob, Cody (Roger); Amanda and Samantha (Gerald Jr.) Boone Parker; (Teri); Rachel, Reyhanna (Sara); Alexander, Andrea and Alicia (John)

Great Grandchildren: 3  Raea-2; Tara 3 months and Devon-2 years.

     The first 3 years out of school I worked in Tekamah at the Telephone Office.  Everine Murphy and Jean Yanks (both Decatur girls) were my room mates, we had a great time.

     In 1958, Gerald Pond and I were married, and the marriage lasted 25 years.  We raised three great kids, Roger of Baragada Heights, Guam; Gerald Jr., deceased and Teri of Deweese, NE.  Gerald Jr's death in 1995 was a tragedy that tested our faith and our family.  We will always miss him.

     In 1984 I was working at the High Way Cafe and L&M Dress Shop so I moved to Lyons.  I met a lot of nice people and enjoyed my co-workers.

     In 1986 Donald Dyson and I married.  We live on his family farm in the house his grandfather built.

     My step-children are Sara Donaldson of Lincoln, and John Dyson of McChord A.F. Base Washington.

We have 15 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
