Spouse: LaDonna Warren Children: 2 Rob Warren and Molly Dahlgren Grandchildren: 5 Sara Warren, Mathew Warren, Tyler Dahlgren, Emily Dahlgren and Zachary Dahlgren Bob spent his time building P & W Inc. On his "off time" he enjoyed fishing (loved those walleye). There was always a sports event to go to. Attended a lot of softball, baseball and basketball games. He really enjoyed his friends and was interested in what was going on in their lives. One of our grandsons has his guitar and is taking lessons. Bob would love that! (Written by his wife, LaDonna) ~~~~~~~~~~ John Robert Warren, 62, died June 7, 2002, at NHS/University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha following a long battle with Illness. A memorial service was held June 10 at First Lutheran Church ELCA in Blair with Pastor Stan Reinemund officiating. Music was provided by organist, Clare Cowing and vocalist, Jerry Wilke. A private family service was held in Decatur. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur. He was born September 9, 1939, in rural Decatur, the son of Sidney Leslie and Martha Mae (Thomas) Warren. He grew up on a farm south of Decatur. He ttended Elm Creek School and graduated from Decatur High School in 1957. August 8, 1959, he married LaDona Oltjenbruns of Lyons at First Lutheran Church in Oakland. The couple moved to Tekamah and, in 1980, Warren went into business with Ed Prussa to form P&W Inc., a fertilizer, ag chemical and propane business. They sold the business in 1999. Warren enjoyed fishing and working out of doors. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of Blair; son and daughter -in-law, Rob and Julie Warren of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Dan Dahlgren of Blair; five grandchildren, Sara and Matthew Warren and Tyler, Emily and Zachary Dahlgren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nona and Larry Kjeldgaard of Bancroft and Jean and Gene Worley of Decatur; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda Warren; nieces and nephews.
